FAQ
How many sessions will I need?

This is completely individual and differs widely with complaint and patient. A management plan will be discussed with you on your new patient session so that you may get the best outcome to care.
Are you insured and registered?

Absolutely, on both counts. Chiropractic is a legally regulated healthcare profession, much like dentists and medical doctors. I am registered both with the General Chiropractic Council and The British Chiropractic Association which entitles me to practice all techniques offered. I am also local council licensed to practice acupuncture and dry needling in the Notts and Lincs districts.
What should I wear?

The best items of clothing to wear are lose & light fitting or gym wear. You may be asked to remove an item of clothing if it impedes treatment or assessment. This is based on your comfort and consent.
Is there a cost for assessment and treatment?

Chiropractic is not part of the NHS and falls under private healthcare. There is a cost for new patient assessments, treatment sessions and reassessments.
How do I know if chiropractic is right for me?

Chiropractic really is for everyone! There is a treatment style and technique that can be used or adapted for any personal preferences or concerns. If you are unsure, I am always happy to have a conversation about any queries you may have prior to you making an appointment.
Where do I park?

The Rosary Clinic is located in a purpose built clinic to the side of my own private residence. Please walk up the path at the side of our house (church side) and you will see our front door; the clinic is the outdoor office building just past this.
There is ample road side parking available.
The area is residential so please park respectfully and with, not against the flow of traffic.

If visiting me at my Lincoln base, the clinic has a car park through the arch way from Newland next to the clinic.
Will my private health insurance cover care?

The responsibility to check with your insurance provider regarding treatment coverage lies with you. Most companies are happy to accept any chiropractor that is registered, as I am. This however should be checked with your insurance company before an appointment is made.

Please be aware that payment is made by you at the time of your appointment. Receipts or invoices can then be given if you would like to claim back costs for care from your insurance company.
Do you treat pregnant women and babies?

Chiropractors can treat anyone from new born babies to the elderly. I personally prefer to treat those age 5 and upwards. I would advise that for paediatric chiropractic, particularly <1 years of age, you should consult a therapist who specialises is treating children in this age group.
I will happily and regularly treat pregnancy related aches and pains. Techniques are always adapted for the individual.
Is chiropractic treatment painful?

Generally people present to a chiropractor because they're are in pain. My job is to get you out of it! Treatment is generally either painless or a minimal, sore pain particularly if working on areas that may be inflammed or restricted.

Preferences to treatment and styles can always be adapted to suit you. You are always in safe hands.
Do you accept drop-in appointments?

Services are offered by appointment only. If you are attending for treatment in South Leverton, Retford, this is my private residence, this policy will be strictly adhered to. Drop-in appointments will not be accepted.
At Newland, Lincoln, although you can drop-in, the likelihood of an appointment being availiable on the day is slim. Your best bet is to contact the clinic directly to make an appointment. We will try and get you in on the day if it is possible.

Rearranging, cancelling or missed appointments.

Cancellation and refund policies can be given upon request as these differ for appointment type and time frame.
As a general rule, missed or late cancellations will NOT result in a refund <24 hours before your appointment time.
